What I wonder about is the incurability of failing to be a natural-born citizen. In such a case it seems that Biden would need to “act” as president indefinitely.

Only if the House refuses to it's duty and select a President from the top three electoral vote getters. If there are no faithless electors, that is only Obama and McCain get votes, that would mean selecting McCain, and in that case they might just refuse their duty. (Biden would still be VP elect).

However with the Governor of Illinois arrested (and already out on bail), with hints of Bami's involvement, I expect there may be more than "a few" faithless 'Rat electors. Then the House can pick from Some Other Democrat.

Hey, we will see. I doubt it though, because with the emergence of some real n’ juicy Obama scandal, the whole Birth Certificate (TM) thing will die down as people shift focus. Which means that I will in turn get hit by less angry troll accusations.
