I ended a long friendship over this recent election. He voted for Obama out of animus for McCain. Incredibly, he was a person I regularly went shooting with. Another proof that the difference between ignorance and stupidity, is that ignorance is finite.
Yes they do. Gun owners are smart because they have the IQ to at least know that a peace sign doesn’t work against an armed robber or rapist. The 2nd Am won’t be repealed but they’ll try their best to circumvent it..

Nickels was advised by the state attorney general that he lacks the authority under Washington's model pre-emption law to enact a gun ban, but he has vowed to do it anyway.
Gun owners see this as imperial arrogance, and suspect that if Nickels can ignore his own state's preemption statute, then Congress and a Democratic president might just presume to ignore the Constitution.

Went to the Crossroads of the West Gunshow in Phoenix today. Customers were hauling away case upon case of ammo. There were thousands of people there. Never seen anything like it. This corner of creation is heavily armed. I am serious when I say that there may be some danger of civil war.
Ditto on that!!! My brother & I (along with his kids & my son) used to deer hunt together in northern Wisc. However in this past election he incredibly & stupidly all of a sudden declared his hatred for Bush, and that Obama had a "good economic policy" which my idiot brother could not even articulate one thing to prove this. I sent my idiot brother several hard hitting articles pointing out Obama's shady/communist/anti-American connections, his complete lack of experience or qualifications, his pro-death & pro-abortion positions and most of all his anti-gun legislative history along with the NRA articles that pointed out Obama's anti gun positions, plus more. My idiot brother then angrily sent me a note, telling me not to send any more "radical extremist" articles that exposed Obama. What a frickin gullible idiot is what I told my brother. Needless to say, after 5 weeks since the election, we are not talking with each other. I told my sister, that I hated that communist Obama with a passion, and I will not excuse my brother's stupidity & ignorance for voting for this socialist-marxist-commie SOB bastard!!! This is CW 2, brother against brother, only this time it is American patriots & lovers of freedom, liberty & sovereignty versus socialist-marxist-commie liberals & lefties.
I bought a bunch of ammo at the gun show. The dealer told me if I can carry it out it’s not enough.

I spoke with a dealer who told me that on Friday, when the show began, his 10 by 12 foot booth was piled five feet high on three sides with assorted kinds of ammo. When we talked on Sunday, all he had left was a few half cases on his table.
The reason it bothers me so much is because people who are otherwise *sane & normal* are being tricked by the vile Alinsky Methods that Barack Hussein Obama utilizes. Good luck to both of us.

Civil War would not be the correct term. Maybe an massive insurgency war here in the US if the gov’t goes on a anti-2nd jihad.
They will use National Guard troops to enforce any new ban/confiscation/registration laws that people will try to ignore (that is NG troops from different states coming to your state so there will not be sympathy from your home state NG members). NG units will have no difficulty and no sympathy, taking out American families and towns if necessary. They will do as ordered.
