INDIAN WELLS, Calif., Nov. 29 -- Former president Bill Clinton has agreed to make public 200,000 donors to his presidential library and foundation as part of an agreement with President-elect Barack Obama's transition team designed to allow his wife -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton -- to be named secretary of state, according to two sources familiar with the arrangement.
The former president has also agreed to allow the State Department and, potentially, the White House to vet his personal business interests and speeches so as to avoid potential conflicts of interest, according to transition officials.
The outlines of the deal cut by Obama and the Clintons emerged in the last week as it became increasingly clear that the New York senator would be named secretary of state.
The transition team said the president-elect will make the announcement Monday in Chicago.
Bill Clinton has long resisted calls to make public the donors to his library and foundation, insisting that he has complied with all federal laws governing the disclosure (or lack thereof) of the contributions and the contributors to the foundation.

I’d bet the farm that every donation to the bill clinton shakedown machine will not be revealed.
Exactly, I never doubted that he could come up with the names of a couple hundred thousand donors (probably all with donations of under $100) that wouldn't raise any eyebrows.
That whole business of revealing all that information that was sancrosanct before so that Hillary can take the SecState job still baffles me.
What is really behind the appointment and acceptance? She can be fired after all; as someone wrote earlier, if Truman could get away with firing MacArthur, why would Obama flinch about firing Hillary?
Or will it look like O’Bummer’s ‘registered voter list’ in Ohio?
My name is definitely NOT on that list, but if it were, I would NOT want it released.
He will probably secretly give Obama the names of several hundred very wealthy people with incriminating FBI records who can be tapped for unlimited funds at a moment's notice.
Will the Chinese be listed? Or the Buddhist Monks?

You know, I think I’ve finally figgered out why Barry offered her the job. The moment the Toons get caught lying about that list, her political future is toast.
