Biden accuses Cheney of being dangerous

US Vice President-elect Joe Biden has said he will be restoring the office of the Vice President to its historical role as adviser to the president and tie-breaker in the Senate.

There has been confirmation that the new Congress will reassert its constitutional independence from the White House by barring the vice president from joining in internal Senate deliberations.

Elizabeth Alexander, a spokesperson for the vice president-elect, said Biden would not continue the practice started by current Vice President, Dick Cheney of regularly attending internal legislative branch meetings.

Cheney has vastly enlarged the office's power, even claiming at one point that it had a special status beyond both the executive and legislative branches, by virtue of the role of president of the Senate.

Asked about Cheney’s interpretation of the vice presidency, Biden said: "Vice President Cheney has been the most dangerous vice president we've had probably in American history. The idea he doesn't realize that Article I of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that's the Executive Branch. He works in the Executive Branch. He should understand that. Everyone should understand that."

You know, I dont like that Obama is going to be president. I can, however, come to terms with it. Now I dont think I will ever come to terms with that grinning jackass Biden being a bus ride away from the White House much less a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Cheney is dangerous...dangerous to terrorists, their sympathizers, and apologists. He’s also dangerous to muddle-headed liberals.

Thanks for your service to America, Mr. Cheney.

And this is coming from a guy that says that JOBS is a 3 letter word, that FDR went on TV in 1929 and that we are gonna have an International Crisis and have no clue what to do. I would have T-shirts made for Obama and Biden saying “I’m with stupid” but Obama isn’t stupid, he is too dangerous to be stupid. Biden on the other hand is a freakin moron. I don’t know who to fear more, Obama a dangerous Marxist or Biden who is an idiot

whenever bozo and biden fail,

they’re going to blame the bush administration.

and the so-called “dinosaur media” has brainwashed

millions of americans into believing that the bush

administration is a “failed administration.”

Biden said: "Vice President Cheney has been the most dangerous vice president we've had probably in American history.

Don't worry, Plugs.

I'm sure that you'll eclipse him.

Actually, Biden is correct.

Vice-President Martin Van Buren did a national television interview in 1844 b.c. and discussed the role of the Vice-President in great length with Dick Cavett. The interview was taped in the ballroom of the H.M.S. Speedwell right after it dropped The Pilgrims off at the International Space Station in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

You remember the Speedwell, don't you? That was the massive ocean liner that was said to be unsinkable until it hit a head of iceberg lettuce in the Mediterranean and sank on its maiden voyage to Mars.

Of course, when I say Biden is correct, you have to allow for some interpretations of those pesky little things called "facts".

Oh of course, just watch, a year from now, 6 months from now as we are being bombarded with attacks by Terrorists, you just watch Obama say “Hey it’s not my fault, it’s Bush’s fault” 2 years from now, we have a 20 percent recession, 15 percent unemployment, gas prices up to 5 bucks a gallon, “Hey it’s not my fault, look what I inherited from Bush, it’s his fault”

Leftists are such nothings. You can read every such article about Cheney without discovering a single FACT about anything “dangerous” or even inappropriate about him. Where’s the beef?

Actually he has had brain damage from a couple of strokes. It shows, doesn’t it?

"The idea he doesn't realize that Article I of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that's the Executive Branch."

Article I is entitled "Legislative Department". Section 3 of Article I is "The Senate", and subsection 4 defines the Vice President as "President of the Senate".

Rumor has it that besides his vice presidential duties, President-Elect Obama will create a cabinet position for Secretary of 7-11 so Plugs feels useful and not left out of the inner circle.

I’m surprised Joe was allowed to make a comment. I was beginning to think he had disappeared.
