He has failed from your and my perspective...but I believe from his own and that of the people supporting him (marxists, socialists, libs, and RINOs) he has succeeded in their aims.
Exactly...well said.
Jeff Head’s off site links are a good thing in my opinion — better than the pages of ‘spam’ others toss up.
Dodd and Frank should resign. They are the worst.....
Dodd, Frank, and Obama first.
Ok and Dodd and Frank and 0bama should resign over Freddie and Fannie..that’d be fair.
Pimping personal blogs is a growth industry at FR. You are among the first and will be far from the last. IMO, it will eventually be banned. But hey, for now, enjoy the free advertising.
Now, aside from your confrontational attitude on this issue, this thread has been a pretty good one.
Thanks for bumping it. Please keep doing so.
Your call on that.
Imagine the idiots in Congress who gave us the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac meltdown now wanting to dictate how to run the auto companies. The automakers NEED to go bankrupt and be bought out by new owners who might run them profitably. I would love to see Chrysler or GM being bought by Hyundai.
That’s a real incentive for the executive. He might as well say, “Screw you all. I don’t want the bail out. Let’s just see what happens without it.”
Fire the GM CEO! Congress should appoint competent leadership such as former Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines.
I merely point out what I consider to be a dangerous trend, use of this forum for personal gain. There is no need to get defensive.
Snidely of him. He’s a turd floating anyway...
If failure is the criterior for losing your sinecure, what the hell is Dodd still doing in the Senate?
His performance in the "affordable housing" mess virtually defines "failure".
