I am fawning over our Republic which requires those who support the loser in an election to acknowledge their loss and pledge to help the winner in ways that they can-common ground. The loyal opposition-is not just a phrase, it has real meaning and is very important to this country. I long for another Gingrich...he helped elevate conservatism; We need to educate and influence voters with a modern contract for America based on conservative principles not tilt at windmills with lawsuits about birth certificates.
