Time to send the pakkys the bill or a the very least deduct the loss (plus a stuff fine for being stupid again) from monies we are now giving them from their next draw. They may on understand what side they are on too well but they all understand losing money. It’s the third world way.

Of course these military supplies were being guarded, right? They are always 'guarded' but the guards have no loaded weapons. The thought process is that they don't want some Private 1st Class soldier causing an international incident.
When my son was stationed in Germany just prior to the first Gulf War, he told us how they were never allowed to have loaded guns on guard duty.

Let me say it again, M I L I T A N T S ? Not a chance!!! We are talking Muslims here. Committing a raid on American Assets in a Muslim country. Could the Embassy be next? After the recent incursion into India, I would be a little more concerned about the safety of anything western, Amercian, US, human or otherwise.
What we need is a good old fashioned hanging, we start with who was in charge of the assets in Pakistan, and continue from there.

It’s no good that the MSR for Afghanistan has to go through Pakistan — but after looking at the map, I can’t see an alternative. Any FReepers come up with a better way?
