Leave it to Louisiana to pull the GOP out of the fire. Having lived there several years, and worked for a Republican Congressman elected in an 85% Democrat district, I can tell you that this is the poster boy state for the GOP. Although these elections do seem astonishing, I am not surprised with the outcome.
