Unfortunately that is more than can be said for the arguments in 0bama's favor.

I know the post you were referring to. It's the one that ends "Has anybody else heard this?"

The point is that Obama invites this speculation by not releasing his birth certificate. McCain released his, so there was no speculation about his birth details.

You also have to look at the speculation deriving from his refusal to release his college records, too. Again, speculation as to why he refuses to release college records is that he applied for foreign student aid. Speculation, true, but he invites it when all the other candidates but him release these records. I know that I had to release my college transcripts to my employers before being hired, why does Obama feel he doesn't have to do the common things that the rest of us do?

The point is that he had to get a new American passport much later in his life and there is no available record of his traveling abroad using an American passport in his young adulthood.
