jefferson losing would be HUGE. would be one of the biggest upsets in a long long time. media wont report it but it would be big. that being said, a long way to go before he goes down.
Certainly the first time that many conservatives and republicans are rooting for the Vietnamese, that’s for sure.
In a way, ironic that the vietnam vet McCain loses but one of the guys whose freedom he fought for might take down one of the bigger dem crooks in the house.
Although, McCain/Palin did win LA by a bigger margin than Bush did in 2000 or 2004.
we all know how the media gleefully reported each GOP loss in a special election. I wonder if they’ll do the same now. He hasn’t even been inaugurated yet and the dems have lost 3 staright election. Albeit in 2 states McCain won by 20+ in LA and by 5+ in GA, but still, you know if this was reversed, they’d be breaking in to report the dem victories.
To me, both of these LA victories are BIG upsets, as the Democrats were favored in both. This shows even more that GWB is an albatross to the GOP. His administration has been a disaster of missed opportunities. Had GWB performed halfway decently and released the border agents, all of this Oprah’s Choice phenomenon might have been averted.
