These ‘Catsh—’ and Barr voters are the most ignorant people on the face of the earth. Do they understand that we do not have a parlimentary system or one where parties are awarded seats based upon the portion of the vote they get? Every Barr or Catsh— vote was a vote for the dim. If you are one of these voters, to paraphrase Shakespeare, you’re ‘protest vote’ is a vote made by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.
All precincts reporting:

skin tight... recount assured. Great news though.
Wow when I was on here a couple of hours ago it looked like he wasn’t going to pull it off...great news there.
Okay now I’ve got egg on my face. I gave up on Fleming too soon.
But Cao...wow, I think we may actually win this one.
Yep, Cao is projected the winner.
Now I’ve entered the Twilight Zone for sure.

Or it is the votes of conservatives that want to punish the republicans who have abandoned conservative principles.
This is the "logic" of a Republibot who has drunk the Kool Aid of RINOs. These people think the Republicans own our votes and we owe it to them to vote for any bozo that might have an R after his name, no matter if it's Barry Goldwater or a clone of Barry Soetero.
He might turn out to be a one-termer like ex-Rep. Michael Flanaan of Illinois (Chicago), wh ousted Rostenkowski, but if that turns out to be the case, at least he managed to get rid of a very corrupt Member of Congress.
Final results in LA-02 are in: Cao wins but by only 50%-47%.
But the fact that he won at all is astonishing.
Actually nearly all those “pro-life, pro-gun” rats defeated “pro-life, pro-gun” Republicans so they didn’t run to the “right of the Republicans” they agreed or pretended to agree with conservative positions.
Basically they ran against Bush but never mentioned they were democrats and would vote 80% with Pelosi.
You are right though dismissing social conservatives would be a disaster. Just like Huckabee’s idea to dump fiscal conservatives would be a disaster.
