“What a demented place - Seattle that is. What a bunch of hate filled creatures.”

Seattle is in King County.

In 1852 the County was named after William Rufus DeVane King.

In 1999, the King County council in Seattle “renamed”—or revised history in my opinion—King County after Martin Luther King and pasted profile silouettes of Dr. King on county stationary and vehicles.

OMG! That is SOOOO asinine!

Do they think anyone will wonder how such an old county was named after such a young guy?
