What they will get is acceptance of their abnormality as being legal. But we knew that anyway: most countries and states have long ago repealed buggery laws.
You are probably not going to see military discipline erode by having submarines full of sailors fagging each other while on duty — or even off-duty. Social pressures, as well as Regulations, will prevent that.
They already have legal. They want in your face. They want redefinition of mariage, etc. etc.
For now, you’re right, they won’t get it.
