Depleted Uranium (meaning it's depleted of radioactivity) is much more dense than lead. No. Depleted uranium refers to uranium that has been depleted of the U-235 isotope leaving the U328 isotope. Depleted uranium is generated when enriched (in U-235) uranium is generator for nuclear reactors or weapons.
