Why the stories about Obama's birth certificate will never die

Dec. 5, 2008 | Barack Obama can't be president: He wasn't really born in Hawaii, and the certification of live birth his campaign released is a forgery. He was born in Kenya. Or maybe Indonesia. Or, wait, maybe he was born in Hawaii -- but that doesn't matter, since he was also a British citizen at birth because of his father, and you can't be a "natural-born citizen" in that case. (But then, maybe his "father" wasn't really his father; maybe his real dad was an obscure communist poet. Or Malcolm X.)

No, they HAVE to be.

What many have not considered is the effect this will have on the troops, unless it is resolved.

"Air Pirates", "Murderers", "Criminals", were just some of the things our troops were called by the Communists in North Vietnam. Consider that any nation which decided Obama may not be legitimately POTUS can claim that none of the troops acting under his command as Commander in Chief are acting lawfully, and treat them as criminals--in their judicial system or the World Court.

If they HAVE to be checked they will.

I don’t think they HAVE to be checked, even though they SHOULD be checked.

Just wait, in time, events will prove that they WON’T be checked, proving that they didn’t HAVE to be.

You are right. Permit me to qualify my statement.

If US troops are going to act under orders overseas and not be subject to criminal prosecution for following what would have been lawful orders from a legitimate Commander in Chief, the documents HAVE to be checked.

If a number of the population are to be expected to follow any law enacted and signed by Mr. Obama, they HAVE to be checked.

If the Obama administration is to have any credibility in its foreign agreements, which could be voided if it came out that Mr. Obama was, indeed, a usurper, those documents HAVE to be checked.

The list goes on.

If they are not checked, we live under the cloud that nothing the Federal Government does for the next however long that Mr. Obama is in office, not one damned thing they do, will be lawful, legal, or binding under our Constitituion.

Because as long as his qualifications are in doubt, so is the legitimacy of the Government itself, and with that government, any treaty, edict, proclamation, order, or currency which it issues.
