A Wall Street sign is seen against the backdrop of the New York Stock Exchange in New York City. Job losses across Wall Street are forecast by New York state accountants to hit 48,000 by the end of next year. Hedge funds, which have long prided themselves on their resilience, are reeling. There is a culture of entitlement in corporate America, and the rest of the nation is paying for it.

Let's buy them all a round of Tar and Feathers. Can't have them running around in Naked Shorts after the bars close can we?

i went out last night to meet a couple friends here in NYC. a couple other guys i know were there drinking heavily and havin a good old time.
i asked them what the occassion was. the one guy who's in fashion told me he had just gotten laid off earlier that day. the other guy who's in finance had gotten laid off the day before.
they laughed because they had to. i left a little while later as they were sitting down to another pitcher of bud light.
