I’m grateful for this project. Those who were born later or came of age later often don’t know how intense was the grief of an entire nation in 1963. These memories of people who were actually involved in the state funeral for JFK are not only interesting, but invaluable. Thank you for posting them.
I’m offended by people who are such insecure twits, they take this as an opportunity to denegrate a fallen president or make inappropriate political statements. Such uncalled for comments are akin to making childish rude remarks at a gravesite and reflect on the poster much more than the presidents they insult. If you choose not to honor JFK, fine; but take your sophomoric comments elsewhere and leave those of us who do care to honor him and his memory in peace.
