A far better area for the MSM to have made an inquiry is to ask exactly what it was Obama had in mind in those references to a well-funded civilian force “for national
security”, equal to the military. THAT was never questioned directly to anyone-—Rahm Emanuel was asked by some reporter, but answered very elliptically. My guess is they threw this out there, buried in a speech ( I can still see the speech, which featured a row of baseball hat wearing morons continuing to clap right over the recitation of this idea, just like the last one Obama offered them) , and now realize how “fraught” it is, so are now shelving it, or continuing to play a coy game with it whenever asked about it. Its original purpose may have been nothing more than as an idea, to be brought out “only when needed”, with the implication that “you in the Media better NOT cross that line, or we WILL in fact bring out our taxpayer-funded team of Brownshirts Lite, put to work to do a myriad of Leftwing psyops.” But even if they go only THAT far, they are going to lose a whole lot of goodwill they can’t afford to lose.

I didn’t know that, as I stopped listening to them after the inmates took over the asylum on November 4th. There’s no denying, though, that the complete media blackout is real – just as it was when Rush’s letter from the Senate reached a record price on Ebay. Nothing. Not a peep.
Is it a conspiracy? I don’t know. It may just be a conspiracy of like-minded, anti-American Socialist pigs who are acting in lockstep. Then again, time and time again, Rush has played examples of the media speaking in unison (such as their use of the term “gravitas,” out of nowhere!) — if they’re not communicating such stuff at SOME level, they all sure have powerful E.S.P. abilities...

All the FCC has to do is threaten Clear Channel....Rush can’t even PROVE it happened.
Remember a year or two ago, one day all of the talk show guys...Rush, Hannity, Boortz, et. al. were invited to the White House at the same time. hmmmmmmmmm

I agree. The fact that every part of the press, from ultra liberal to far conservative, ignores this issue creates as much suspicion as Obama not forking over $10 to get a certified copy of his long form birth certificate. Actions on both sides are suspicious and unsettling.

I’ve been listening to Rush for almost as long as he has been on the radio. And I totally enjoy his show. I even take my lunch break and eat in my car so I can hear the first hour. Then I go for a 15 minute break at 2:36 so I get him just as he comes off break.
I get out every day. I am very concerned about the fact that NO conservative talk show host I’m aware of is addressing this issue in a manner befitting the issue.
I’ll listen some today, but I doubt he’ll say a word.
No credible talk show host is doing so because they don’t want to be in the same catagory as the 9/11 conspiracy kooks.
Okay, I saw that Souter would receive Obama's attorneys and their documentation on the 1st. The announcement date of the 5th apparently allows, then, for three days of followups and demands for further proofs if needed, and a day to deliberate and compose Souter's rescript.

I am not sure about this edict from the FCC. We have been talking about this on KSFO since Monday and Brian Sussman our local host spent an hour on it Monday morning.
