NO case heard in the Supreme Court has EVER held that birthright citizenship is granted under the 14th Amendment to the children of people in the United States illegally. Or legally, for that matter, if not admitted as immigrants.
Excellent point. I didn't realize that. Wouldn't it be wonderful, if as a side benefit to this case, all anchor babies were declared not citizens also!

Wouldn't it be wonderful, if as a side benefit to this case, all anchor babies were declared not citizens also! That would be essential. I don't mind a tourist's or student's child becoming American, but if you are not legally in this country, your children should NOT become citizens. I believe that you should not even get social services, free schooling, or welfare. It's killing us.
