I think now they are taking no more chances - they will raise every imaginable terror warning just to show the country that they “are doing their job very well”. This will lead to a fatigue among Indians and consequently they’ll ask to bring down the risk level a few notches and then the terrorists strike again. Not a good and sustainable idea in my opinion.
Making terror threats public just raises the fear levels of people and hurts business and life as usual. Better to keep this things under wraps but do their jobs well nevertheless.
What I don’t understand is why they and we don’t just go in undercover and start assassinating. Sounds non PC...but hey...
