Fresh off his runoff victory Tuesday night, Georgia Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss credited Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with firing up his base.
I can't overstate the impact she had down here, Chambliss said during an interview Wednesday morning on Fox News.
When she walks in a room, folks just explode, he added. And they really did pack the house everywhere we went. She's a dynamic lady, a great administrator, and I think she's got a great future in the Republican Party.
Chambliss said that after watching her campaign on his behalf at several events Monday, he does not see her star status diminishing within the party.
The Republican also thanked John McCain and the other big name Republicans that came to Georgia, but said Palin made the biggest impact.
Even DC I’m not certain
heh
Cindy “Mother Moonbat” Sheehan gave Speaker Pelosi a run for her money with almost no campaign funds or organization, beating the Republican to come in 2nd place!
Cindy Sheehans congressional bid (she beat the GOP candidate to come in 2nd!)

Wouldn't Biden take over if the SCOTUS rules against Obama?
I hate to see the Libs and media do to her what they have done to President Bush. Course, she might fight back!
She’d kick their ass. She has NO fear of these drones

Anti-Sara Freepers are deeply saddened.
I was at the rally in Atlanta and the whole place went crazy when Palin walked in. It was more like a rock concert than political rally. When her speech was over, She and Chambliss left the stage to shake hands with the first rows of the crowd. He was first and everyone was ignoring him, even the press taking photos from the platform. They all had their cameras aimed at Palin. Chambliss was going down the line all by himself almost totally ignored. I took his pix as he walked by me just because I felt sorry for him. Everyone was focused on the chaos behind him, Sarah. The crowds were crazy trying to get her photo, handshake or autograph. She took her time and was very gracious trying to please everyone. She shook my hand, but my daughter got a hug. It was great to see her in person. Chambliss goes back to Washington as a witness to Palin Power.

But has he figured out that he should blame himself
for dousing water on his base in the first place?
Big Subsidies for Agribusiness...
Amnesty for Illegals...
Compromised Energy Policy...
Big Bailout with sweeteners...
The list just goes on and on.
Sorry, can I say that I need like fifty hugs, a complete flash website and 30 more hours than the next week can offer to get through this semester. /sigh
Saxby will be on the road stumping for Palin in the next four years, or he sure sounds like it it anyway! Come see a RINO (hopefully soon reformed) from GA thanking Palin (some good ones too).
And if Saxby doesn’t support her when she runs for the presidency they have names for that in Hell.
But we need to condemn the sleazy double-entendres, as in this headline, which no liberal would ever permit to be linked, say, to Gov. Granholm.
Hey Saxby, maybe you could take conservative lessons from Sarahbarracuda.
Fifty-seven Leftists, plus Snowe, Collins and Specter.
They have their sixty.
Right. Even DC has standards. Someplace. At the Starbucks, at least.
I guess Saxby's victory is Palin's so that's something to be proud of.
Don’t worry. Kathleeen Parker will come along soon with a piece about how Sarah had nothing to do with the landslide for Saxby despite polling and Saxby’s admission to the contrary and they’ll attach themselves to that.
Besides promoting the idea of Presidentia Pelosi is an appeal to her vanity -- and that would help gum up the works somewhat, eh?
That’s my girl! I love it.
