Just because Savage claims to be a conservative doesn’t make him one. Here is a Bernard Goldberg quote from Michael Savage criticisms in Wikipedia. Savage is NOT A CHRISTIAN, because God said in his word ‘YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS” HATRED and DIVISIVENESS are not good fruits.

Michael Savage has never claimed to be a Christan. He was born into a Jewish family in NYC, though isn’t particularly religious.
He does speak highly of religious people on occasion, though.

Over the 12 or so years I've listened to Savage he's made no excuses about that. He's giving it back to the leftists as they gave to conservatives throughout the last half of the 20th century.
Other talk show hosts follow his lead. Mark Levin for example does the same.
I am completely in agreement with him, et al. After fifty-plus years of seeing conservatives cower and slink away pleading with liberals that they are not bigots I am extremely happy that some conservatives have the guts to fight back.
