The only one who thinks he has a lead is Franken, and that is by 22 votes. Everyone else agrees Coleman’s lead has actually increased since the recount started. I guess maybe Coleman should concede so Al can take his Senate seat.

I don't think the Franken camp seriously believes they have a lead. This is just a means of giving Harry Reid cover when he ignores Minnesota's certification of Coleman as the winner and seats Franken. He can point to this and similar articles as "proof" that Franken actually won.
Truth and reality don't matter when you own the media.
