How interesting! I’ve just spent the last 4 days banging my brain over Palestine, the Jews and the Arabs. I found this letter by King Abdullah of Jordan, speaking against Jewish settlement in Palestine. http://www.kinghussein.gov.jo/kabd_eng.html
How interesting that this supposed country had no leaders to speak for it, no kings, no prime ministers. The best they (the Arabs) could do was ask the neighbor kid’s dad to write a note (oi! I think I’m mid-easted out! Anyone want to know about any of the post-1900 treaties????)

No one should fool himself with the notion that Muslims will be satisfied by a return the pre-1967 borders. Even if that could be accomplished, Muslims would view it as a temporary compromise not a settlement.
Let me propse a scenario: Lets say that Israel agreed to return to the pre-1967 borders and the issue of Jerusalem was settled, somehow. A treaty has been signed and ratified affirming Israel right to exist and sovereignty over those areas that it controlled prior to the Six Day War.
Now, lets suppose that a year passes. Life is tense but tolerable on both sides. By some miracle, a super giant is discovered; that is, Israel discovers a 50 billion barrel oil field. This field lies entirely in Israel (not close to Jordan, Egypt, Gaza, or the West Bank) and runs, say, from Beersheba south into the Negev. Does anyone believe for one nanosecond that the Palestinians would not demand their share of the revenue? Anyone with an ounce of sense knows that the Palestinians would concoct a slew of claims purporting to demonstrate that this area was once a part of historic Palestine and that it should be given to them, regardless of the treaty.

I've been sating this for more than 7 years.
There is, and never has been, any such country as "Palestine".
There was a
region designated as "palestine" by the Romans.
The 'palestinian' arabs lost all rights to "their" land when they ran out as the other Arabic countries tried to stop the formation of Israel in 1948.
The Israelis begged them to stay but they wouldn't.

Old news.
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism." --- PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein on March 31, 1977
