ELK GROVE ― The teenage son of former California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, is one of four people arrested in the murder of a San Diego student.
Detectives have arrested Ryan Jett, Esteban Nunez, Leshanor Thomas and Rafael Garcia, all 19 years old, at different locations in Sacramento County.
Police say the victim, 22- year old Luis Santos was leaving a party on Oct. 4 with four friends when a fight broke out with a second group of four men.
The verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight, which led to Santos and two of his friends being stabbed, officials said.
Santos died from his wounds.
The San Diego Police Department confirms that Nunez is the son of Fabian Nunez, the former California Assembly Speaker.
The suspects will be transported to San Diego and charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

That Fabian Nunez must be some good parent. I have little doubt he’s more interested in lining his pockets with taxpayer money than he is in his own family.

Indeed they will. I listen to Larry Elder at 3pm. When John and Ken plan something classic, I’ll turn on a second radio. Like the time they did a broadcast from in front of Gary Condit’s office. They marched in, live on the air, and demanded to know of Condit’s secretary where he dumped Chandra Levy’s body. And when they did the TOOKIE MUST DIE hour. That was great radio.
I heard about that one. The problem is to many people are under awe of saint Obama and Joan Of Arc Hillary to care. Jeez.

Yep. I missed them when I moved up here, but then I got to know them and their producer through my work (Ray Lopez calls me their “favorite spokeshole”) I am so glad that I can pull up their stream on RSS, glance at the topic and listen when it looks like a good topic.
