The polls close in ten minutes. Hopefully Georgia has held the line today. Poll traffic was reported as steady here Northeast Atlanta today...
I voted for Chambliss this morning in Alpharetta. Very light turnout but steady.
It is as cold as Alaska in Georgia today. I doubt the inner city Obama supporters would bother making that extra effort to vote for some smarmy white guy like Martin.
Heck, Obama didn’t even make an effort for Martin.
I agree! I posted before I read your’s.
people are forgetting that Chambliss already has gotten more votes, and other states, he would already be declared the winner....factor in the 3rd party voters who surely would not want to give the socialist/fascist one more Senate vote...
exactly. someone with balls and brains. not someone whos “just looking to get things done”
As far as I’m concerned, they could halt all federal legislative activities for the next century and america would be better for it.
I am convinced that Herman Cain would not waiver once he landed at Reagan National.
NBC affiliate just posted the first figures I’ve seen yet
http://www.11alive.com/news/elections/dec2/default.aspx
It says 0% reporting???
Chambliss 64%
Martin 35%
At present:
Chambliss
(R)
5,996
Martin
(D)
2,800
1% of precincts reporting
Chambliss (R) 12,302 68.9%
Martin (D) 5,549 31.1%
A review of the votes, up to the minute, as compared to the General Election. Chambliss is doing much much better percentage wise than he did in the General.
I am using this link that someone posted
http://www.sos.georgia.gov/elections/election_results/2008_1202/003.htm

Chambliss will carry this easy and the reason will be that the AA’s came out to vote for Obama on Nov 4th in Georgia, this time they wont bother in so many numbers.
Thanks...here’s more:
(R) 17,229
(D)
8,248
Martin better NOT catch up. GO SAXBY. I don’t even know much about the guy, don’t care, we can’t allow a filibuster to happen
We both voted, for sure.
I think you’re right....not many Obama supporters understand how government works anyway. ;-)
“I was very much enjoying the Jim Martin Rally staring TI and Ludacris, I couldnt help thinking that the audience was probably made up of former DFACS wards who were abused and neglected under Ole Jimbos leadership”
Yikes. Rough crowd.
We had a totally fired up Jack Kingston, who had a whole schtick on how a vote for Martin, was indeed....Ludacris ; P
Seeing old “johnny”, and watching Jack, I could not help but think that 2010 might be just right for a new Republican Senator...
