I think “Pravda” means “truth” in Russian so in a sense, it’s appropriate.

Yeah, I think that is what many who lived in the USSR thought in the 80’s and 90’s as they started getting REAL news from the outside world that contradicted what they had been reading. ;)
Y’know, this sort of reminds me of that movie, The 13th Floor.
Is it possible we were just as duped as they were?
