Well I spent the 10 bucks, it made me feel like I was doing something on this issue instead of just complaining about it on FR and Digg.

This is exactly why Republicans keep losing, because we are cheap and don’t put our money where our mouths are. The libs have no compunction at all about sending their people money when policies they want are at stake. We need to start doing the same.

No one here knows for sure that the Justices will NOT receive these letters. Unless that can be proven I think 10 bucks is nothing for such an important issue.

Supreme Court justices are appointed for life. They aren’t congressmen whose re-election chances hinge on being responsive to their constituents. Justices don’t read mail. They have clerks who only bring to the justices’ attention matters that pertain to their personal or court business. They aren’t swayed by sacks of mail or demonstrators outside.
