Calling the 2008 elections a repudiation of Republicans, President Bush shouldered at least some of the blame for his partys poor results in November.
Im sure some people voted for [President-elect] Barack Obama because of me, the outgoing president said.

Mark my words, some on this forum will never blame the democrats and Obama for anything in the next four years, but rather they will keep blaming and hating President Bush. They will do exactly what liberals and their media will do.

I think the opposite is true. Look what we have now...Clinton retreads and Hildebeast as Sec. of State.

First of all, hes being asked. Secondly, hes a humble, decent and honest man, unike some.
If he were, he'd have already had Ramos and Compean pardoned, forgiven, back pay instituted, job available. Bush has been part of the problem since 04. We have had some great people come forward to be in the republican party, but the old guard is hell bent on destroying it.
2010 maybe the death blow to the republican party as conservatives are about sick of RINO's and the irreparable work they have done to gut a once great party.

Will your hate die after President Bush leaves office or you will keep hating him and blaming him even four years from now. What are you going to do to stop the democrats and Obama from implementing their socialist and defeatist agenda? Are you going to blame President Bush on this as well? I know your stupid answer: Bush gave us Obama and the democrats so let us not fight their socialist and defeatist agenda but keep blaming President Bush.

because he wanted the dems to love him..what hog wash
it was HIS agenda much like McCain he was conservative only when he was forced to be. ala H Miers nomination. Bush is smart and able it is just he was never even a compasionate conservative he was and is a new world order kinda guy.

Rove estimated that 5 millions Republicans stayed home in this election, many of them are in battleground states and their votes could have given us the Presidency. They stayed home because most of them hate McCain more than they love America. Some stayed home because they thought the elections was already lost as they believed the liberal media.

Bush: Some voted for Obama because of me And the rest of the "Rinos"...
They just don't get it do they ? When they tell the Conservative base "Drop dead and goto hell.", they think we will vote for them ? I've always known politicians ( on all sides ) were thick in the skull, but this is staggering idiocy on so many levels. My G-d if we don't get a Candidate with a spine soon we are freakin' toast.
Just give me one Conservative Candidate that won't run an " I surrender" platform.

You are right. The liberal media has been always deeply in the tank for the democrats but this year they went out in an insane way to support Obama. The term extreme bias is a very mild term to describe the media support for Obama.

Heres my take on it, they complained and whined so much at Bush, Now they got one that might make them think twice about all the complaining.
