The current financial crisis is FAR beyond the control of any President. Let's not forget that GW tried to head it off back in 2001 with Red Flags on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The Dims (like Barney Frank) said it was no big deal.

President Bush has been an excellent President. The only shortcoming was his lack of comfort at public speaking.

This current recession is certainly not his fault.

Bush promoted freddie mac. Again, compassionate conservatism in action.

for you info: Bush appointed cox at sec, who has done nothing but inflame the short sellers..or paulson
who panicked everyone with his pass the Tarp now or we go down..just two examples of Bush's failed leadership.
