Local FBI chief rebuilds trust with Muslim leaders (Sacramento)
Sacramento Bee ^ | December 1, 2008 | Stephen Magagnini

For months, Sacramento's top FBI agent kept a Muslim prayer rug in his office.

It was for Imam Mohamed Abdul Azeez, religious leader of the SALAM Islamic Center in Sacramento, who attended a citizens' academy with Drew Parenti at the FBI office.

Parenti hasn't converted to Islam. He's been trying to convert Muslim leaders who might be suspicious of his agency after 9/11 and the Lodi terrorism case.

And, after years of distrust, Azeez and other local Muslims believe they have found a friend in Parenti.

Good Grief!!!!! I can't f'ing take it anymore! Fire this asshole NOW!!!!! The FBI didn't attack muslims on f'ing 911...they attacked the USA!! I'm so freaking sick and tired of the bullshit we're eating at the hands of muslims I can't stand it. Was there EVER in the history of civilization a nation that was governed by a more inept, incompetent pack of fools?

I’m very suspicious of all muslims. And that might be understatement.

I like to think that if I were the FBI agent, there would be no prayer rug in my office.

I would simply tell the Muslims in my region “Hey, you have nothing to fear from the FBI - as long as you live peacefully and don’t aid nor abet terrorists who may amongst you.”

The prayer rug is schmaltz and window dressing to gain the trust of the Muslim community.

What the...? Let's see if I can put this in perspective.

..after years of distrust, (fill in the blank) believe they have found a friend in Parenti.

Substitute 'the blank' with:
Gang-bangers
Crips/Bloods
Neonazis
Mafioso
Drug dealers
Black liberationists
Black Panthers
The SDS
etc.

So now the Wahhabi of the local Saudi Arabian mosques feel comfortable with our FBI. Does that mean the FBI will look the other way when the Wahhabi introduce Shari'a Law?

Blast from the past:

‘’It appears he went there with the intention of killing people,’’ said Richard Garcia, the agent in charge of the bureau’s criminal branch in Los Angeles. ‘’Why he did that we are still trying to determine.’’

http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9800E2DE1E31F935A35754C0A9649C8B63

Bureau was stumped...I remember at one point they were floating that he may have been upset about some unpaid bills. They were puzzled why the sight of an American and USMC flag in his building complex enraged him and also puzzled as to why his wife fled to Egypt just prior to his terrorist attack.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2002/07/08/lax-shooting-wife.htm

“The INS began deportation procedures, but in 1997 Hadayet was granted permanent residency through his wife, who received an immigration visa through the Department of States’ Diversity Lottery Program.”

OK rant off.

This is just the requisite ass kissing that muslim leaders demand. It makes them feel like they are an important part of a society they have no intention of assimilating with.

Is this mixing religon and state, having a prayer run in the office of the local FBI chief? How about a cross when a Christian comes in the office, you know, to gain his trust too?

Yes, I demand a cross on the wall, and a Christmas tree in the corner of his office. Otherwise, I will f*rt in his general direction!
