The only sane thing McCain did during that entire campaign was pick Sarah Palin.

Right on. I found it funny how when Palin mentioned McCain's name at the rallies today, the applause was noticeably more muted.

I noticed the same thing. We are watching something truly fantastic in political history. The transformation of a VP candidate from a losing ticket into the front runner for her parties nomination just days after the election. And a woman to boot. And a self made, non-rich, non-ivy educated woman from a small State ( by population ) Truly phenomenal.

Truth be told, without her there as our future it would really be a nightmare to contemplate the next 4 yrs with Bo in the White House. But she gives us something to hang on for.
