The civil rights movement came about because blacks had a legitimate case to make that the US was not living up to the principles and the text of the Constitution, especially those clauses dealing with equal treatment under the law.
Now that they are on the verge of what should be the capstone of the civil rights struggle, a black person taking the oath of office, what does it say when 90% of the black community supports a person who gives the appearance, at least so far, of being perfectly willing to to not live up to the text of that same Constitution?
Was the civil rights struggle not about the Constitution at all?

"We cannot condone this shocking conduct ... If that is the case we hope our message is clear. This sort of deception will not be tolerated and if this is routine it should be corrected immediately."
Mr. Vieira said such an ethical question of representing a client who refused to produce such a basic document is important, even in a small civil case. The current question is concerning the man who potentially could have his finger next to the nuclear button.

I think two other documents should be subpoened - his applications to Columbia and Harvard. I graduated from Columbia College and Harvard Business School and both schools had detailed requirements about birth dates, places and citizenship. I will bet pretty heavily that, given the fact he was a very poor student in Hawaii, he gained admission under some program for foreigners. that is how his father gained admission to Harvard.

DOes anyone think that he DOESN’T know he is not eligible.
He even said as much to Keyes during a discussion of where he was born. His response was, what difference does it make, I’m not running for president. That was in 2004.
Well, now he is. He did this to us.

Doesn’t Obama have a court order due today to produce his documentation?

Thank you for your article. There is a great deal of anxiety out here because no one in the media seems to be reporting this critical information.
I believe Mr. Obama needs to prove to the American voter that he is a natural born citizen. He needs to show us respect and he needs to show the constitution proper respect. Our country and our principles are more important than an individuals’ wants or ambitions. Our liberty that the constitution provides hangs on a razor’s edge.
I am angry that our Legislative branch with the blessings of our Executive branch could go along and not lift one hand to verify qualifications of a Presidential nominee and perhaps soon to be President-Elect. I pray the Judicial branch of government has the wisdom to be the final interpreter and arbiter of our Constitution independent of political pressure and public opinion.
Please extend my thanks to your expert in the article, Edwin Vieira. I wish Edwin’s insight and your article could be viewed in every newspaper in America. The American voter needs to understand all the facts and hear the truth.

I’ve been watching the “birth certificate controversy” since the beginning. In fact, I was one of the first to raise objections based on the phony Certificate of Live Birth that was put up months ago.
At this point in time, I don’t foresee the courts stepping in to halt the Electoral College proceedings or the pending inauguration, regardless of how logical or persuasive some of the arguments for doing so may seem.
Obama will be sworn in as president. He will be president.
HOWEVER.... I don’t think the issue of the birth certificate is going away, either. If that original UNmodified document still exists, sooner or later the truth as to exactly what’s upon it is going to come out. Of course, this assumes that in the interval, Obama will not use the power of his office to replace the true original birth certificate with a hoked-up one. Or that the existing sealed document already hasn’t been replaced in that manner.
Perhaps someone (or even a few people) outside the Obama circle already knows what’s on it. They won’t keep quiet forever.
I sense that somewhere, somebody knows the truth.
And truth has a way of finding the light of day.

The democrats have already prepared for his removal if it comes to that. They might be playing out the clock until he is sworn in. Hillary is going to be Sec. of State. I have a feeling that everyone else in the line of succession would turn it (the Presidency) down leaving Hillary as President.
Obama is living for the first minutes of his presidency, when he can fire the federal prosecutors that are preparing cases that would incarcerate him for much of what remains of his life. Its his only hope, and he cannot be expected to ‘come clean,’ any more than did Bill Clinton.
I have recently retired from a “second career” and have had time to read ALL, AND I MEAN ALL of the blogs involving this potential Constituional Crisis including Dr. Polarik’s outstanding investigative CONCLUSION of the forged Obama “Certification of Live Birth.”
I have forwarded many of the articles/links to fellow church members and my conservative friends at my former job to help get them informed of the situation.
I am deeply troubled about this potential Constitutional Crisis and the possible usurpation of the highest office in the land by this “poseur,” as one author called Obama.
Honestly, I go to sleep at night thinking about this situation only to rise in the morning doing the same.
We need to keep up the pressure on Congress and SCOTUS to have this situation resolved.
