I don’t mean to spoil the party, it’s fun stuff. Enjoy! keep digging.
The secret to beating Obama will be strategy. Democrats tried the court route for many issues and very few of those worked(mostly terrorist rights). It was Pelosi’s carefully controlled constant ‘attack GWB on issues/news events’ strategy. ‘Carefully controlled’ meaning keeping the ‘impeach Bush’ crowd :Sheenan, Conyers, Dennis Kucinich down.
I am dying to see elected Republicans start thinking politically. Dems do everything political, but well. Our side seems clueless.

There are many parallels between Dr. Sun Yat Sen and Obama, yet one glaring thing stands-out. Dr. Sun Yat Sen worked very hard all his life for others, becoming a medical doctor, then taking up the cause of Liberty, as he understood it. Sun Yat Sen was a full man, coming close to our own George Washington. Still, even he fell prey to Marx's ideologies and that fondness for the despotic politics and economics of Marx created a chasm that today splits China into two countries.
Sun Yat Sen was a full man, whose live was lived for others. Obama is an empty suit, all vanity and charm, whose actions are all for himself.
Obama, though, has a virtue -- he is honest in what motivates him. He always says "I will decide ...", "What I think is best ...", "What I will do ...", "My ideas will ..."
Obama is deceptive, but not in in speaking to his "I"-ness.

I am an American who was born overseas and that fact has presented bureaucratic problems for me throughout my life. Everything from getting into school, to being tossed in an INS holding tank to being shaken down at customs at US Airports at least 50 times.
If Obama were born in Kenya he would have had similar problems and those problems would have left a paper trail.

Yeah, well, I guess openness can’t be avoided. Hooray for that clickable link, and what it might draw here.

Many Republicans seem to like being the minority party. Less responsibility and accountability that way. Most don't have the cajones to fight the Dems on their turf. Like a wrestler or boxer trying to take on a street fighter with a knife.

Has anyone seen these sites today?
http://wire.factcheck.org/2008/10/23/obamas-citizenship-and-survival-of-the-fittest/
and/or
http://snopes.com/politics/obama/citizen.asp
The factcheck site is dated 10/23/08 but the page data shows that it was updated today at about 6:00 GMT.
I think they are starting to tapdance around the issue, as I don’t remember these two mouthpieces of Camp Obama addressing the issues of Natural Born Citizenship and renunciation/affirmation of citizenship upon returning from Indonesia...all hypothetical analysis, of course /s.
By starting to spin on these issues, I can’t help but think that this issue is starting to worry them.

your wasting your efforts. Welcome to FR.
your wasting is a sad thing try to eat a little more have some leftover turkey.

Not one freeper who thinks this is a waste of time has responded to my particular points, but I'll keep trying. [snip]
I think it is important that someone who is going to be President prove he meets the requirements that constitution states must be met to be president.
Thank you, utahagen. A lot of people on this forum agree with you.

What you're saying makes sense, and that's why I think it impossible that Obama was born in Kenya. However, the point isn't why any particular presidential candidate is surely eligible for office; it's about following procedures that, if applied to EVERY presidential candidate, will ensure that ANYONE who is ineligible to be president is prevented from running. Whether you (very reasonably) think Obama is eligible is irrelevant. There is a simple way for Obama to prove he is a natural-born citizen and that is by publishing a verified copy of his birth certificate. Arguments on Free Republic — however valid — should not settle this issue.

Lester asked about it at a White House press briefing. I think it is likely he will bring it up again.

I just posted a post mocking someone would who come on the COLB threads and whine about how we should beat Obama on the issues. And it was YOU I was mocking!

Does that mean that we can also count out Bobby Jindal? It would.
How would Bobby Jindal be ruled out? Last I heard, Baton Rouge was part of the US.

Yeah, and the White House attempted to make the question itself out to be loony toon stuff by WH press guy rolling his eyes in a most infantile way.
