As the Republican Party continues its steady leftward drift, it's no surprise that Party Firsters and folks who are too scared to take the leap of faith needed to jump to a genuinely conservative third party find themselves advocating for the Socialist agenda.

I know you were an ardent supporter of Schwarzenegger and McCain. You had it right three decades ago but recent actions pretty much negate that, IMO.
To bad you think Reagan is a socialist.
Illogical leap on your part.

Don’t ya just love all these “pragmatic” names they come up with for anti-conservatives? lol.

You may just have hit on it here... praps SOCalPol IS trying to advance the liberal/socialist agenda... Nah... I don't think so. At least not intentionally. Sometimes partisanship just masks reality.
Until some folks realize that having an (R) in office (who likes to reach across the aisle on liberal issues but never receives like gestures from the left) is just as dangerous (if not more so) than a Dem, we'll slide faster into socialism than if we were all fighting together against (D) leadership.
Acknowledging McCain as any kind of leader in the party, knowing that he wants to push amnesty and cap-and-trade programs, is just plain idiotic, IMO. Ya can't tell Schwarzenegger apart from Al Gore these days. These so-called "leaders" need to be wholly rejected ASAP before they use their friends in the liberal media to completely take control of our future via a "rebranding" of the GOP.

Dont ya just love all these pragmatic names they come up with for anti-conservatives? lol.Eew! Don't say the "p" word around me...
They keep spouting the "11th commandment" and forgetting this:
" We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- Ronald Reagan, 1965
Ha! Guess where I snuck that off of? I've been trying to remember where I saw it at... I hereby steal it for my own page. Thanx! :D

My candidate throughout the primaries was Duncan Hunter
who we can thank for the fence.
His son now has his seat in congress, he served tours in Iraq and Afgh. as a Marine Capt. is in his 30s.
I am a supporter of Gov. Palin and Jindal who is doing a great job under a bad situation.
Some good young conservtive reps coming up are Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor among many.
