Our goal is, or should be, to encourage or force the “moderate” Muslims to turn on and help us destroy the “immoderate” Muslims.

Would we have tolerated 'moderate' Nazis? No.

Would we have tolerated 'moderate' Imperial Japanese? No.

We should not tolerate, nor even acknowledge that such a thing exists, 'moderate' islam.

It's a cancer. It needs to be excised from the Earth by any means necessary.

Well, what would “moderate Nazis” have been like? They might have stayed within their own borders and not killed all the Jews and homosexuals. Why must we destroy them simply because we dislike their ideology, as long as they leave us alone?

If “moderate Muslims” don’t attack us, I see no reason why they shouldn’t be acceptable. Notably, Muslims didn’t attack us for a couple of centuries prior to about 1970. No reason we can’t go back to that.

The biggest problem with lumping all Muslims together as you do is that it forces those who aren’t our enemies to become enemies, since you intend to treat them as enemies anyway.
