Well...NO, we're not going to "give it a rest". This one issue could amount to one of the greateset Consitutional challenges in the history of the document - and you say "give it a rest".

Maybe there are some people left who actually believe in the Constitution, and are ready to roll over and play dead when some "motivational speaker" comes along with his goon squad and steals and election - and then absolutely refuses to prove he is a natural born citizen. Someone with a very sorted background with strong possibilities that he was born in Kenya, and you want to just let it go?

Did it ever occur to you that IF this allegation is true, and we "let it go", that it will amplify our "coming struggles" exponentially? Who will want to be President next? Castro? Chavez? Once the Genie is out of the bottle, then the office of the Presidency will be a free-for-all...then...THEN..you will see come "coming struggles".

Look, I know you're a relative newbie, but all the guy has to do, is show us the birth certificate. Once he does that, our argument is deflated and we go home with egg on our face. If the freepers currently defending the constitution by demanding to see Obama’s birth certificate get weary before the next struggle, the rest of us can deal with the next struggle. I believe Obama almost certainly was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born citizen, but I believe also that every candidate should have to prove this before being sworn in. I don't understand the calls for people not to waste their energy on this.
