Idiots. What reaction did they expect from the police?

And they’ve been bred for fighting and they have lethally powerful jaws and bites. Other than that...

“Should kill off the whole breed.”

The 22-year-old woman and her husband said police used excessive force against the dogs and that they are consulting an attorney and animal rights activists.
Silly girl. You shoulda' just told the nice little doggies to 'Sit' & 'Stay' instead of calling 911.

"they were too vicious they had to be put down" I don't care for lawyers or pit bulls and suspect the officers were completely justified in shooting the animals, especially given the situation.
But, I can't help but recall the trooper over here in Tennessee that shot a dog during a traffic stop. The dog was running toward the officer, but was wagging its tail and showing little sign of aggression.

Yesterday in nearby town a child was run over and killed by a SUV. Today politicans and local zealots are demanding that all Suv’s be eliminated because of the inherrent inbreeding of the SUV’s. I myself think it is only those made by Toyota.

People like this need to be taken on the slow ride to the emergency room, with a driver that gets lost often so the bleed out is more lasting.

Ban pitbulls and those owners will instead choose rotts or akitas or some other dog to ruin. No problem, there are plenty of bullets.

In that case the owner should have never let the dog out of the car, no problem.

You heartless ignorant bastard, they were forced out of the car and unable to close the doors, they pleaded with the police to close the doors and keep the dog inside.

“That officer had a flashlight on his shotgun, and the dog was going toward that light, and the officer shot him, just blew his head off,” Pamela Smoak told the Herald-Citizen. “We had begged them to shut the car doors so our dogs wouldn’t get out, [but] they didn’t do that.”
