For democrats the Constitution is a dead letter, "a little problem" as Tom D'Asshole once put it, and is in the process of being brushed aside, possibly for good. There seems to be precious little interest on the part of the GOP in saving it.

If he is IN FACT ineligible, that is, if it is absolutely KNOWN that he is ineligible, you think business will proceed as usual?
Who are you that your business is so improtant that you won’t put it aside to deal with the question of what must be done in this matter? I CANNOT BELIEVE that there aren’t millions of Americans who will fail to put aside all other considerations to face this thing.
