Mumbai terrorists were 'funded by cash raised in UK mosques'
The Daily Mail (U.K.) ^ | November 29, 2008

Posted on 11/29/2008 3:57:38 PM PST by Stoat

Kashmiri separatists Lashkar-e-Taiba, ‘The Army of the Righteous’, which has strong links to Al Qaeda, is accused of previous terrorist outrages in India.

And intercepted telephone and radio communications before and during the latest attacks apparently suggest a link.

The group last week denied any responsibility and the unknown group Deccan Mujahideen said it was behind the atrocity.

But earlier this year another group, the Indian Mujahideen, which has links to Lashkar-e-Taiba, sent an email to Indian police warning it was planning an attack in Mumbai.

The message read: ‘We are keeping a close eye on you and just waiting for the right time to execute your bloodshed...Let the Indian Mujahideen warn all the people

It is accused of being behind a series of train bombings in Mumbai in 2006, which claimed almost 200 lives.

The group is outlawed in Britain and the US.

Oh the posted sources they say $15,000, but I was told they are getting $25,000 dollars. Either way this is absolutely disgusting.

I think I’ve heard that before but it doesn’t hurt to repeat.

IMHO there are peaceful Muslims. But those muslims knowlingly or unknowingly support radicals. The Quran is a book of hate written by a murderer and child rapist. It lays out the rules for when its ok to fornicate with animals. It allows and even encourages the raping of children, after all their prophet did it.

It also requires the killing or subjugation of unbelievers.

All because the Christians and Jews of the time refused to name their pig prophet as a Saint.

Most jobs in the Army do not involve shooting anything. About 90% of Army jobs involve feeding, supplying, training, housing, paying (etc) the people doing the actual trigger pulling.

Similarly, somebody who sends money to support jihadis, the imam who emotionally supports the jihadis, are all taking part in Jihad even if they do not directly have blood on their hands.

how many prominent muslims have made public statements against the radicals?

A number have made statements against harming "innocent civilians" (then turned around and said to their own followers that everyone who rejects Allah is guilty under Islam, and so the only "innocents" are Muslims).

Prominent Muslims who openly and unequivocally reject the doctrine of violent jihad? None that I know of.

The only innocents are Muslims but they kill more muslims than non-muslims. That is how they enforce their system. Leave Islam and they kill you. Argue against their laws and they kill you.

“Prominent Muslims who openly and unequivocally reject the doctrine of violent jihad? None that I know of.”

There was one muslim lady that was publicly condemning them. Of course they were trying to kill her.

Indeed, and how much by Hamas and Hezbollah?

The next four years will be bloody.  Keep your powder dry, as they say.

How much of our oil money goes to fund terrorism? Saudi is using it to fund mosques in the US.

And not just in the U.S. The Saudis and their Wahhabi buddies are at the root of a lot of this.

I found stuff about $2.5 billion in grants, and $25 million in grants, and $25,000 in grants, but nothing about any of these going to mosques anywhere to do anything.

Do you have a reference to something you'd care to provide us?

Both use $15,000 as the amount. There are other references to $14,000.

The initial concern in the original articles was that CAIR had stirred up all mosques to successfully obtain a security upgrade grant from DHS.

Supposedly this ended up being the ONLY mosque to get such a grant.

Now, a question on this, since the basic congregation started at Johns Hopkins University, could it be the case that fundamental membership is mostly Iranian and "other" Shia?

I can see clearly that a "refugee" Shia population might well need a better set of locks and some bars on the windows to keep Sunni terrorist types OUT.

So, does anyone know anything about the nature of this group?

Public records are out there, other sources did tell me $25,000. Contact Homeland Security and ask them, I would but they will tell me the grants are setup for security purposes and the mosques qualified.

By all means, call HS and demand an answer Monday morning. :)

Actually the Tories oppose it, and the Lib Dems have stated some unease.
