IMO,the pagans of Europe would have killed Paul a thousand times.
Savage faiths for savage people and by the time of Paul,the Europeans had already had enough of savagery. In short,they were primed for civilization.
The early Christian's did much murdering,converting,and enslaving—but it was against the will of Christ as written in the Gospel.
They eventually reformed and became closer to the original intent of Christ--much like when the Satanic horror of Roe v Wade is overturned. The same cannot be said of most other founders of other faiths.
