No more a hypocrite than people who think it's ok to kill "under the banner of Christ."

I'm not advocating that, and I don't know anyone who is advocating that...so you are more of a hypocrite than I am and you're more of a hypocrite than everyone I know.

You liberals are very prone to stereotyping...and you always get it wrong because you're so far removed from the truth of that to which you're pretending that your "conclusions" (wink, wink) are past any genuine absurdity. You can't make this stuff up, although you progressives always try. You're consistently inane.

See post 51.

Stereotyping? Oh, my goodness. Can't you see the stereotyping on BOTH sides of the coin? The real absurdity is that you don't see it, and that your post is filled with stereotyping.

Have a good evening. It's late.

But see Luke 22:36-38. See also Revelation 19:11-21.

Yet, Jesus was very clear to separate himself from making any political choices.

So, do you think Jesus ever voted?

My problem stems more from the idea that Christians alone can do good.

I had the same problem.

I had the same problem.

One of the things we had to do in Medieval studies was sort through destructive activities justified in the name of Christianity and to find genuine acts of good. I remember reading a commentary by the Dali Lama saying that Christianity is the most beautiful religion in the world. The only problem that Christianity has is Christians.

Nazism would not have occurred without the ridiculous ultra patriotism that HItler cultivated. That kind of patriotism is dangerous, and I’m sick of the ultra right wing wrapping their religion in my flag.

Baloney. Your sickness is the most dreadful problem affecting our body politic. You have committed at least 4 major fallacies in that ridiculous and petty outburst.
A) Hitler did not promote ultra patriotism. He promulgated a sick and disturbing racism of the type your sick post espresses.
B) Your flag is founded upon the principles to which your so-called ultra right wing is committed. Defame them and you defame your flag.
C) Hitler came to power in precisely the identical way that Obama has come to power. Both are fantasized idols of leftist utopianism.
D) Patriotism does not exist in types. One is either patriotic or one is not. I spy you are not.

Of course, patriotism comes in "types."

The type that says you aren't a patriot if you criticize your leader or your country is POISON.

That fanaticism resides in the ultra right wing of the Republican Party. It doomed Germany. We shall see what happens here.

You are a genuine kool aid kid. Nothing you have said is based on truth or reality.

And perhaps you are such a fanatic that you can’t even see where your kind of thinking can lead. There’s serious dangerous on both sides of the political spectrum, something some of you are unwilling to admit.

Your lack of literacy and inability to express ideas clearly make it obvious that you are not well read and have not thought deeply about the issues that interest you. For the sake of meaningful dialogue you must dig deeper into original sources and spend serious time in thought before daring to express another ill informed opinion.

I’m not sure how literate one can consider oneself when one’s entire reading experience is one-sided propaganda, but if you think you are so well read that you can pontificate about others lack of literacy, then go ahead. However, try broadening your reading experience. It will do wonders for your own intellect.

Baloney. The extreme right wing of The Republican Party criticizes President Bush here every day.

Fanaticism is the domain of The Fascist Left, which is the embodiment of today's Democrat Party.
