They’re saying that the disappearing rain forests surrounding Kilamanjaro have removed the moisture and thus the snow and thus the glaciers. FYI. ?????

I had heard that the lack of adequate moisture was the problem. And so, as with all glaciers, they shrink if the melting is more than the addition of moisture and they grow, if the addition of moisture is greater than the melt-off. And since glaciers are growing in other parts of the world, this is obviously something localized.
