There are only two kinds of US citizens, natural born and naturalized. Assuming Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a citizen. Since he is definitely not a naturalized citizen (didn’t go through immigration) he is a natural born citizen. There is no third kind of citizen, all citizens are either natural born or naturalized.
