It’s just that some only use the ‘animal’ term when the bad actor(s) is black. It sometimes seems that they troll the forum just for that very reason. There are threads where horrible and despicable behavior is discussed and the word ‘animal’ is never thrown out.

Where is color being used as a protective shield? I agree that they acted like a mob or a bunch of thugs. It’s just that selective ‘animal’ label that rubs me the wrong way.

There was a thread just yesterday where we were commenting on the animals who went on a killing spree in Bombay.

And we often comment about the Islamic animals who go around sticking acid in the eyes of female children who dare go to school (many Arab and other Muzzies are Caucasian)

It is not by any means a term used specifically for blacks, it’s term used for animal like behavior, period.

Funny... the title of “animal” gets posted on FreeRepublic quite often, and nearly always is a reference to behavior, not race.

Get off the racial sensitivity/PC bandwagon. Call a spade a spade...errr... band analogy. How about this one:

If it looks like a duck, behaves like a duck, smells like a duck, sounds like a duck, swims like a duck, flies like a duck, then it probably is not a gopher...

About the only racial tie I have read on this thread so far is the statement (of fact) that blacks make up a disproportionately large percentage of the animal-like acts that we hear about/read/see. (And yes, I know it wasn’t put quite that nicely, but emotions have been pushed in this thread - and particularly when the race card gets played - we had enough of that with Obama’s campaign).
