Zardari for joint efforts against terrorism
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Indian Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Thursday and said countries of the world should join hands to tackle terrorism. He condemned the Mumbai terrorist attacks and asked Sonia Gandhi to convey the sympathies of the people of Pakistan to the families of the victims. The killing of innocent people is most detestable and I condemn the attacks in the strongest possible terms, he told the Indian leader. Militancy and extremism in have to be eliminated.
In a separate message, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also strongly condemned the terrorist attacks, APP said. Gilani stressed the need for concerted efforts to make the region a peaceful place to live. agencies
No thanks zardar
I most forcefully and strenuously denounce my left hand.
Oh, please there have been ten times the attacks against Pakistan than against India. This is an attempt to turn the countries against each other more than anything else.
If that occurs then the pressure on Afganistan increases.
It is a brilliant move whose depths are largely uncomprehended.
Sounds like a quote from our future president after an attack here.
