The Army of Muhammad is back. This was the message buzzing in radical Islamist circles yesterday as the world tried to absorb the shock of the terrorist attacks in Bombay, India's economic capital.
While it is not yet clear which group was behind the attacks, it looks as if the perpetrators were trying to imitate the tactic of ghazwa, used by the Prophet against Meccan caravans in his decade-long campaign to seize control of the city.
The tactic consists of surprise no-holds-barred attacks simultaneously launched against a caravan or settlement with the aim of demoralising the enemy and hastening his capitulation.
The Bombay attacks differed from previous terror operations in India in a number of ways. In the past, one approach had been to place explosive-packed devices in crowded places with the aim of killing large numbers at random. Another was suicide attacks on specific targets by lone "volunteers for martyrdom".
This time, however, the approach was "symphonic", in the sense that it involved different types of operations blended together.
Involved in the operations were men who had placed explosives at selected points. But there were also gunmen operating in classic military style by seizing control of territory at symbolically significant locations along with hostages. Then there were militants prepared to kill, and be killed, in grenade attacks against security forces.
Whoever designed the operations had another important Islamic tactic in mind: tabarra or exoneration.

Actually it is not just India’s problem since this attack directly involves the fight in Afganistan. Conflict between India and Pakistan weakens the fight against al Queda and the Taliban in the NW Territories. The only exception is an unlikely direct and massive nuclear attack on the NW, the terrorist home base. By engineering conflict between these two countries al Queda reduces the pressure on its efforts against us in Afganistan. It has attacked Pakistan far more than it has India.
This attack was as brilliant a move as 911, very destructive.
My eldest serves as a Nuke on the USS Ohio so I well know the qualities of a minority of our young. Our nation has shown it does not deserve them or their sacrifices and has joined the rest of the nihilistic West in surrendering all it has valued for the last four centuries.
There will have to be massive destruction and tremendous suffering before the attitudes which the brainwashed/braindead masses work under change. The lack of moral courage is not just in the government leaders but in the people which elect and re-elect RATs. The Treason media only exists because the people allows it to.
Zero will systematically remove any and all who resist the pussifiers and politically correct traitors.
It is because the Treason media/Party of Treason has so undermined the President that these scumbags still exist in a condition that they can pull this kind of crap.
They would have no chance against a unified US. Our deadliest enemies are less than two months away from taking complete power here.

Your son is among the ranks of a rare bread of warrior. I have known many of his predecessors, mostly USS SEAHORSE SSN-669 era, and am well aware of their honor, dedication to duty, and the courage that instills (even when they occasionally put out the lights in a city block with a Dodge Charger). Courage, after all, is not the lack of fear, but the conquest of fear (even when your stomach feels like you have swallowed an anvil and your chest feels like someone is standing on it), that allows one to perform a necessary dangerous task. Blind Man’s Bluff, you may be familiar with it, gives a glimpse of the exploits of the Cold War Submarine sailor.
I agree with your assessment of our government leaders and many of our fellow citizens. There is still hope, however, as long as there are people like your son, that we can turn the tide. If that fails, and we slip into tyranny, I do not want us to quietly let it happen. My prayer is a renewal of Reagan’s morning in America.
My fear is that tyranny has never had the weapons of social indoctrination that it does now. When similiar levels were reached the rulers were generally religiously based which moderated their savagery. Except maybe for the Aztecs.
With nihilists in control of such power I become very concerned.
