AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

I’m sending in a guest listener ... see ya Monday.
I’m listening. I have the TV on the Backyard Brawl (Pitt-WVU football) with the sound off, and staying out of the stores on Black Friday.
now that’s funny
I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving.
Especially if you are on Long Island.
Hi hattend. Thanks for the thread. I’m stuck at work, and need FRiends to talk to! Did you have a good Thanksgiving?

I just got my audio going. Do we know from when this “best of” is dated? Or does it not really matter?
Yes, those were great graphics.
I am at work as well. I don’t know why because I am the only one working out of the 50 people on the contract. The weather station had to stay open I guess.
I had Thanksgiving dinner here at the Weather Station (I was working the night FAA contract) and got to talk to my wife on the phone (She’s in California.) So, Thanksgiving was kind of lonely but we knew there would be some separation during holidays when I took this job.
I don’t know what day the “best of” show is from...at the beginning it did say it was an “Open Line Friday”. I don’t recognize it. It must have been one of the Fridays I missed due to the internet being out.
I snuck out of work for lunch just now-—an hour early — so I could run to Sears and get a washer/dryer for 1/2 PRICE -but you had to buy it before Noon. Free delivery, hookup and take away. I was out of there and back to work within an hour!Totally worth it!
Found the “ping list” list
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1811878/posts
But no Rush ping list on either FReeper page listed
Wow, what a steal of a deal!
Good job, Fawn.
Enjoy your washer/dryer.
Years ago my wife and I went shopping for deals on Christmas goods on the first shopping day after Christmas. I have never seen a store (it was Bloomingdales, and it was her idea, lol) so crowded.
I never been so excited about a washer and dryer before.
This has been a rough week. On Tuesday we were informed that our company lost the contract recompete. We've had this contract for 15 years, and apparently that's the problem--too many of us have been on the contract too long, and are making too much money. We were underbid by $10M on what had been a $90M five-year contract. To add insult to injury, my function (computer systems training) has been cut completely from the new contract, so the new company won't be offering me a job.
Now that the initial shock is over, though, I find I'm ready to leave. My company, Northrop Grumman, is great about placing people in jobs on other contracts, but if it won't be in a job I'll enjoy, I'm going to look elsewhere. If they don't offer me a job, I'll get a good severance package (12 weeks' pay), which will give me time to find a new job.
Great! Did you buy one of the new high-energy front-loaders?
The parking lot was packed and I waited 20 minutes to get to a register. BUT-—I was able to get a parking spot almost to the door since a person was leaving as I was scoming, I was actually lucky enough to park almost right in front of the ‘right’ door where the appliances were...and I got a salesman in 2 minutes who waited in line for me to the register. I was meant to have this washer and dryer. LOL!
