That is the reason that there is no way they could let that happen, the Constituion be damned.

If the Constitution be damned, then of course so be all of us, and likely the rest of the planet as well. Careful with the descriptives.

Apparently, my descriptive stirred up the nest.
My point is that yes, we are all screwed if they don’t uphold the Constitution, but it has happened before, and my confidence in our courts is not at this moment at a very high point.
This could be the defining moment as to whether we are “a country of laws and not of men”.
