The Juan McCain Truth File. "I have great respect for Al Gore." John McCain, October 2, 2008 FR Keywords: mccaintruthfile, mcqueeg, mcbama Please tag all relevant threads with the aforementioned keywords. This can be a very high-volume ping list at times. Republican Commissars Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of McCainiacs, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless GOP shills who simply want to meet a new overlord. |

McCain lost, he’s a loser, why does anyone think he should be the party leader on anything?
You win, you’re the head of the party. You lose, and you’re out.

Governor Palin would have been far better at the top of the ticket rather than Senator McCain.
Trying to be "Democrat Lite" is a futile exercise.

McCain going to decide to caucus with the Democrats so he can actually be part of a winning team. Enough of the reaching across the isle - he will just walk across...and take a seat.

I'm not following John McCain! Any one who does needs to be banned from FR. Rally round conservatives, to resist the leftist agenda. Its going to be a long and difficult four years ahead!

Sounds like we’re going to give amnesty to 30 million illegal aliens so they can bring their “extended” families here to climb aboard the broken down American gravy train. I thought we already had enough poverty here. Why do we want to import MORE? Will these aliens have health insurance or will they become another bumper sticker for the ‘RAT party? Unemployment is on the rise! Why do we need MORE unemployed workers? “Immigration reform” is a joke. How about a little of that “COUNTRY FIRST” stuff there Johnny boy.

he would have done us a greater favor if he had enough commonsense to step aside and let Romney win...or even Huckabee. Why couldn’t he see that we needed a new and outside the beltway leader in order to win? The RNC better put more pressure on these career politicians to bow out if we are to retake conservatism in Washington.

BUMP what you said.
Exactly.
To: rabscuttle385
John McCain did not destroy the GOP...the GOP destroyed the GOP. The current bunch of Republicans in Congress, with few exceptions, are RINO’s and need to be thrown out during the next set of primaries. The GOP nationals ran a horrible campaign that lacked focus. If it wasn't for the enthusiasm of Sarah Palin, the election would have been a huge yawn. The GOP voting record proves they have abandoned the core principles of smaller gov’t and lower taxes. The GOP is in deep trouble and if they don't change soon, they will cease to exist as a viable force on the political scene.
